After a decade plus of working in professional services, McDaniel Consulting founder Sean McDaniel incorporated McDaniel Consulting LLC in December 2006 to purse a career as an independent contractor in the greater Washington DC and metropolitan area. McDaniel Consulting's focus is to deliver client satisfaction through high quality innovative software solutions developed using agile methods.

Sean has a broad range of technical leadership experience including:

• Full lifecycle development of over 15 successful enterprise projects across multiple industries.
• Open Source and commercial product development experience.
• Several years of practical agile development process experience.
• Extensive experience in J2EE, .Net and Open Source technologies.
• Practical experience delivering Rich Internet Applications based on Javascript.

The majority of Sean's career has been focused on the design and implementation of high volume and domain complex middle tier solutions for Fortune 500 companies. With the advent of the Web 2.0 movement Sean picked up a contract leading a team building a 2nd generation Ajax/DHTML application for a major financial institution. Once swearing never to use Javascript, Sean has found himself doing almost exclusive JS development for the last 12 months and loving it (mostly).
